Hey there!

I am cultural manager Giedrė. I am still active in the cultural field (both Lithuanian and international), but after 8 years of experience, I decided that I want to share my knowledge and help my colleagues and other actors in the cultural field.

My experience:

Cultural organizations: Long-term experience working in various forms of cultural organizations, such as the Arts Printing House, Vilnius Keistuoliai Theater, "Artscape" arts agency, "Sirenos" international theatre festival, Baltic Nordic Circus Network (current workplace). I have worked with different formats of organizations and their principles of operation.

Project Management: I am an experienced project manager with expertise in all stages of the project cycle, starting with project planning and application preparation, continuing with project implementation and ending with report preparation. I can identify and manage project risks.

Coordination and process management: My experience also includes coordination of people, processes and resources in organizational activities. This includes personnel management, efficient use of resources and effective communication flow.

Strategy: In more than one workplace, I have made a contribution to the formation of the organization's strategy and its implementation. I have changed the vision and strategic orientation of the organization.

Fundraising: I have a successful track record of developing and executing effective fundraising strategies from different sources, including sponsors, public funds and other sources. Public funds - I have experience with various funds of the Nordic countries, applications from the Lithuanian Cultural Council.

Activities

Consultations

I consult artists and other representatives of the cultural sector both individually and as a team (small cultural NGO's are most interesting to me). Competencies:

Project management: for organizations to plan, implement and monitor projects. This may include project cycle management, risk management and reporting;

Strategy formation: develop or revise your long-term vision and goals, help with strategic actions.

Fundraising: Develop and execute effective fundraising strategies, including funding from different sources such as foundations, sponsors, government programs, etc.

Preparation of applications and budgeting: prepare competitive applications and accurately plan budgets (Lithuanian Culture Council, Vilnius Municipality, Nordic Culture Point, Nordic Culture fund, NORDPLUS fund applications);

Coordination and process management: to effectively manage your activities, as well as to optimize internal processes (experience in coordinating people, processes and resources);

Sharing of international experience: for organizations that seek to participate in international activities or seek to attract international funding (experience with international organizations or projects);

Publicity and visibility: form a publicity strategy in social networks, increase the organization's visibility in the digital space and form the organization's identity.

Courses

I periodically organize various courses and seminars for representatives of the cultural field.

Mentorship

I organize a mentoring program (for organizations, cultural managers, artists), during which we discuss problems and challenges and set goals that we aim for in a set period of time.
